Our Heritage Story

Founded in 1990 by the visionary Parakh Brothers, our jewelry house has been a beacon of excellence, trust, and artistic brilliance for over three decades.

What started as a small family business with a passion for creating beautiful jewelry has evolved into one of the most trusted names in the industry. Our journey began with two brothers who shared a dream of bringing the finest craftsmanship to discerning customers who appreciate quality and elegance.

Today, we continue this legacy with the same dedication to excellence, combining time-honored techniques with contemporary designs to create pieces that are both timeless and modern. Each piece that leaves our workshop carries with it the promise of quality, authenticity, and the personal touch that only comes from decades of experience.

Meet the Founders

The visionaries behind our legacy

Ramesh Parakh

Shri Jasraj Parakh

Pillar of Strength, Parakh Group

Shri Jasraj Parakh came to Chhattisgarh from the village of Tiwari in Rajasthan (District - Jodhpur) at the age of 15 along with his father. They began their journey in the jewelry business in Durg. Even decades later, the jewelry business he founded—Parakh Brothers & Co.—remains a symbol of purity in jewelry among the people.

In 1951, Jasraj Parakh laid the foundation of Parakh Brothers & Co., and today, his sons and grandsons continue to carry forward his dream by offering 100% pure jewelry to the city’s residents. He has served as the patron of the Durg Sakal Jain Samaj, was President of the Durg Sarafa Association for 35 years, and was honored in 2011 in Mumbai by the All India Gems and Jewellery Federation Council for his contributions to the jewelry sector.

He has led two major Chaturmas events (a Jain religious observance), including one with Yuvacharya, and also served as a minister of the Oswal Panchayat. Reflecting on his early days, he shared that after his mother's death, he came to Durg with his father at the age of 15. After completing 7th grade, he learned the jewelry trade at his maternal uncle’s shop and understood the nuances of business. He proudly stated that 75 years ago, the showroom of Parakh Brothers & Co. was established.

Speaking with pride about his sons and grandsons, he said they have all learned the intricacies of the trade under his guidance, and their unwavering goal has been to always provide 100% pure jewelry to customers. A well-known figure in the Jain community, Jasraj Parakh is the father of four sons and one daughter. One son runs a wholesale medical equipment showroom, while the other three are involved in the jewelry business, committed to offering pure and trusted products to the citizens.

Piyush shares that his grandfather and father not only taught him the nuances of business but also instilled the belief that customer trust is the true strength of Parakh Brothers & Co. They earn this trust by consistently providing 100% pure jewelry. Upholding a legacy of purity and trust for over seven decades remains the core mission of the business.

A founding member of Jain Yuva Manch, lifelong member of Shri Krishna Gaushala (Chatagadh, Mohlai), and leader of Eye Donation Camps and Jaipur Foot Camps, Bhagchand Parakh has also played a key role in the revitalization of Durg's Muktidham. As a member of the Chhattisgarh Chamber of Commerce, he remains socially, religiously, and professionally active.

Known for his rare blood type, Bhagchand Parakh is a regular blood donor, always ready to donate whenever needed, regardless of time—day or night.
